Locums Anesthesiology Opportunity
Location: Reidsville, North Carolina
Start Date: April 13, ongoing
Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (day shift)
Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM every night + weekends during rotation
- Call response time: 45 minutes to 1 hour
- Call scheduled every night and weekends in between/end of rotation
- North Carolina medical license
- DEA
- ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications
- Supervision: Yes — 1 MD and 4–6 CRNAs per day
- Cases: No trauma, no OB
- Annual Cases: ~4,900 (General, ortho, gyn, GI)
- Role:
- Preops, PACU, boards, some blocks (CRNAs do blocks too)
- Float/breaks during the day
- 85% supervised cases, 15% own cases
- Procedures: Must be proficient in spinals, blocks, epidurals
- Case Logs: Required
- Number of providers during day: 5–7 (1 MD + 4–6 CRNAs)
- Number of ORs: 4–6
