Job description
We are seeking a skilled anesthesiologist to provide locum services in Pennsylvania. Will be working with a well established health system with multiple sites on a single campus. Excellent opportunity for providers enjoying a diverse case mix with strong CRNA support. Looking to start in April.
Job Details:
- Case Types: Bariatric, breast, general, OBGYN, ortho, plastic. Heavy orthopedic service. (No trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery).
- Department: Bread and Butter anesthesiology
- Setting: Acute care hospital; cross-credentialing at a second site.
- Support: CRNAs work independently; little to no supervision required.
- EMR System: Epic
Schedule:
- Shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, & 24-hour
- Mon - Thurs (No Scheduled Friday Call)
- Call: Taken from home; shared equally to support work/life balance.
- Must be available for some weekends and holidays
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (BC required)
- Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with regional anesthesia
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
