A growing, community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia is actively seeking an Anesthesiologist to join a supportive, well-established department. The client is prepared to interview immediately and provide quick feedback for the right candidate.

The Opportunity
You’ll join a collaborative anesthesia team that includes board-certified anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and Anesthesiology Assistants. The environment is collegial, well-organized, and designed to support high-quality patient care without burnout.
Schedule & Call

Monday–Friday schedule, starting at 6:30 a.m.

Rotating early finish times as cases conclude
-
No weekend call
-
1-in-8 call rotation (home call permitted)
-
Paid time off plus holidays

Comfortable with solo cases, with opportunity for light supervision
Case Mix
-
Broad “bread and butter” general anesthesiology
-
Nerve blocks, arterial lines, and epidurals
-
Approximately 40–50 cases per day across 10 operating sites

No cardiac or neurosurgery cases

Candidate Qualifications

Completion (or upcoming completion) of an Anesthesiology residency

Board Certified or Board Eligible (with commitment to certify within five years)
