Lewisburg, PA – Anesthesiology – Scheduled + Call

HIGHLIGHTS
• Broad bread-and-butter anesthesiology practice
• Heavy orthopedic and regional anesthesia volume
• Supervision of CRNAs and students
• Modern OR, ASC, and endoscopy suites on one campus
• Epic EMR
• Billable travel
• Coverage needed including weekends and holidays
SCHEDULE
• Day shifts may be 8-, 10-, or 12-hour blocks
• Some 24-hour shifts available
• Monday–Thursday scheduling common
• No call on Fridays
• Call taken from home and shared equally (supports work/life balance)
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Final schedule and call expectations TBD
CASE MIX
• Bariatric • Breast surgery • General surgery • Endoscopy
• OB/GYN (including epidural coverage) • Orthopedics (heavy service) • Plastic surgery
• No trauma
• No neurosurgery
• No cardiac surgery
DEPARTMENT DETAILS
• Acute care hospital with 131 beds
• 13 main ORs + 1 hybrid OR
• 1 OB OR
• Ambulatory Surgery Center with 4 ORs and 2 cath labs
• Endoscopy Center with 2 additional suites
• Approximately 20 CRNAs providing strong team support
• State-of-the-art ASC on main campus
• EMR: Epic
REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted)
• PA DEA & CSR required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Strong regional anesthesia experience required
• Epic experience preferred
CREDENTIALING
• Estimated privileging timeline: ~90 days
