Job description
Full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join the ICU and surgical team at Hospital in Jackson, Michigan. This role blends high-acuity CVICU coverage with comprehensive anesthesia services in a collaborative, academic environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage complex post-operative cardiac, vascular, and TAVR patients
• Oversee and collaborate with APPs in the CVICU
• Deliver anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks (OR, OB, healthy pediatrics)
• Share OR call proportionally based on ICU coverage
• Participate in protocol development, teaching, and multidisciplinary care
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
Qualifications
• Fellowship-trained in Critical Care Medicine
• Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and license history
Working Hours
• 8–12 weeks CVICU annually
• Remaining weeks in OR with shared call responsibilities
• Must be available to start ASAP
