Job description
Full-time or part-time Physician Anesthesiologist to join their Anesthesia Team in Muskegon, Michigan. The team practices a care team model with CRNAs while still allowing physicians to personally perform anesthesia. The hospital offers a broad case mix in a modern, high-acuity setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Medical direction and supervision of CRNAs
• Perform peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques
• Participate in perioperative care including radiology and obstetrics anesthesia
• Collaborate with surgical teams to improve OR efficiency and patient outcomes
Qualifications
• Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
• DEA, ACLS, BLS (or willing to obtain)
• New graduates welcome
• No visa sponsorship available
Working Hours
• Mix of day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
Skills
• Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks
• CRNA supervision
• Trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, OB, and neuro anesthesia
