Anesthesiology Locums Job in Pennsylvania | Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call | Beginning May 4, 2026 – Ongoing | Assignment #113498
Coverage Details
-- Three providers needed
-- Must have ongoing two weeks/month availability or in-house call
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
Shift Details
-- 10-hour weekday coverage (4×10s)
-- In-house call for weekend days/nights and weekday nights
-- All days needed Monday–Friday
-- Must commit to providing some Friday coverage
Call Details
-- In-house call
-- Call response time: 15 minutes
-- No call-back or beeper module
Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Licensed in PA or IMLC
-- ACLS, BLS, PALS
-- Must have clean malpractice
-- Experience with Epic
-- Recent acute care hospital experience (not primarily ASC)
Expected Surgical Procedures/Case Types
-- Complete Ortho
-- Complex Vascular
-- Head/Spine
-- Neuro
-- OB
-- Pediatric
-- Regional
-- Thoracic
Required Procedures/Skills
-- General anesthesia: Trauma
-- Open Heart anesthesia
-- Complex orthopedic cases
-- Pain management techniques
-- Post-op epidural
-- Post-op extremity blocks
-- Epidural steroid: Lumbar
-- Epidural steroid: Cervical
-- X-ray–guided blocks
-- Central line placement
-- PA catheter placement
Assignment Details
-- No cardiac coverage required (generalist only)
-- Patients per shift: 50
-- Facility size: 720 beds, 24 ORs
-- Support staff: Anesthesiologists, LPNs, nursing staff, administrative, anesthesia techs, 3 NPs
-- Trauma Level I
-- Patients age 1+
-- EMR: Epic
