Our client, a reputable provider dedicated to high-quality cardiovascular and lifestyle medicine, is hiring a Cardiologist to join their esteemed team in Suffolk County, NY. This role offers an opportunity to lead patient care in a dynamic outpatient environment, contributing to both individual health outcomes and the growth of a respected practice. As a key member of the clinical team, the Cardiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services, develop personalized care plans, and manage patient wellness programs. You will oversee clinical staff, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while fostering a patient-centered, professional clinical environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing diagnosis, treatment, and prevention for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conducting thorough physical examinations and obtaining medical histories.
  • Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
  • Developing individualized patient care plans.
  • Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions.
  • Educating and counseling patients regarding their conditions, medication compliance, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies.
  • Supervising clinical staff and supporting team-based care.
  • Monitoring and reporting patient outcomes to support quality assurance.
  • Contributing to practice growth through high-quality care, patient satisfaction, and relationship building.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree with a valid NYS licensure.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
  • Prior experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
  • Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance.
