Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Physician - Anesthesiology Nocturnist to provide locum services in Asheville, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a true Nocturnist looking for a rewarding work environment in a Level II trauma setting. Coverage is needed ASAP and is expected to last for 6 months or longer.
Job Details

Case Types: Busy OB, trauma, vascular, neuro, urology, and ortho. The facility is also a designated stroke center.

Setting: Inpatient Hospital setting at Mission Hospital - Memorial Campus.

Schedule: Night shifts from 17:00 – 08:00 every day of the week. This is a "strong night need" specifically for true nocturnists. No call is required.

Support: Care Team Model consisting of 1 MD and 3–4 CRNAs. MDs mainly provide supervision but can work their own cases if preferred.

EMR System: Cerner and AIMS.
Requirements

Board Certification: BE or BC required.

State License: Must have an Active North Carolina (NC) license.

Skills: Must be proficient in performing peripheral nerve blocks.

Vaccines: COVID-19 (Required) and Flu (Status unknown).

Credentialing: The timeframe is approximately 90 days.
