Job Title: Locum Physician - Anesthesiology
Summary
Join a dynamic medical direction practice in Bismarck, ND, where you will have the opportunity to oversee a collaborative team of CRNAs with a ratio of no more than 1:4. This facility offers a comprehensive anesthesia practice, including management of regional anesthesia, labor and delivery coverage, and cardiac cases. You will be involved in performing common regional blocks for orthopedic procedures while adhering to a structured call schedule that balances in-house and home assignments.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide medical direction for CRNAs in a 1:4 oversight model.
- Perform regional anesthesia procedures including adductor, interscalene, popliteal, and supraclavicular blocks.
- Manage anesthesia care for labor and delivery.
- Oversee the anesthesia needs for all cardiac cases.
- Participate in restricted in-house call and unrestricted home call as scheduled.
- Engage in a rotating shift schedule, including weekday and weekend responsibilities.
- Collaborate with support staff, including CRNAs and OR personnel.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Current North Dakota license or interstate medical license compact (IMLC).
- Clean malpractice history.
- Availability upon name clearance.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
License and Certification Requirements
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Current ND medical license or IMLC.
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS.
- Clean malpractice record.
- Self-Query NPDB report at the time of presentation.
