Availability & Scheduling (Critical Screening Section)
- Schedule Options:
- Monday–Friday
- Five 8-hour shifts (7a–3p) or
- Five 10-hour shifts (7a–5p)
- Call Requirements:
- Yes – Beeper call
- Weekend beeper call required
- Coverage Expectation:
- Site is seeking a full-time locums physician
- Minimum 4 weeks per month availability
- PRN Coverage: Not available
- Case Mix Includes:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- GI
- Robotics
- OB
- Radiology
- Endoscopy
- Ophthalmology
- Plastics
- ENT
- Neuro
- No Trauma
- Dedicated cardiac team handles cardiac cases
- Primary Case Types: General Surgery, Ortho, GI, Robotics
- Average Monthly Case Volume: 1,150–1,200
- OB Volume: ~200 deliveries per month
- Supervision Ratio: 80/20
- Staffing:
- CRNAs: 26
- MD Anesthesiologists: 12
- Board Status:
- Board Certified Anesthesiologist – REQUIRED
- State License:
- Active Florida medical license – REQUIRED
- Certifications:
- ACLS – Required
- BLS – Required
- PALS – Required
