Coverage Needs & Availability (Key Screening Section)
- Start: April 2026
- Coverage Pattern:
- 1 week (7 consecutive days) per month
- Initial Schedule:
- 5 × 10-hour day shifts
- Call added after provider becomes familiar with the facility
- Providers Needed: 2
- Restricted Call (C1):
- In-house
- 16 hours on weekdays
- 24 hours on weekends
- Unrestricted Call (C2):
- Home call
- Primarily emergent cardiac cases
- Care Model: Medical direction
- Maximum 1:4 CRNA supervision
- Physician Responsibilities:
- Regional anesthesia
- Labor & delivery coverage
- All cardiac cases
- Required Regional Block Experience:
- Adductor canal
- Interscalene
- Popliteal
- Supraclavicular
- Patient Population: Pediatric through geriatric
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: CRNAs and OR staff
- Board Status:
- Board Certified Anesthesiologist – Required
- State License:
- North Dakota license or IMLC – Required
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
