We are seeking a full-time or part-time Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative, experienced anesthesia team in Muskegon, Michigan. This opportunity offers a balanced care-team model with both medical direction and hands-on anesthesia practice.

Job Responsibilities
Broad and complex range of cases, including:
Orthopedic (elective and trauma)
Gynecology and ENT
Complex vascular and neurosurgery
Interventional cardiology (EP and structural heart)
Full-scope cardiothoracic cases
Radiology anesthesia support
Full obstetrical practice with high epidural volume
Clinical Focus & Innovation:
Strong emphasis on OR efficiency and quality improvement
Implementation of a Surgical Optimization Service for pre-operative patient optimization
Use of advanced regional anesthesia techniques and peripheral nerve blocks to support enhanced recovery pathways
Training available for candidates not yet proficient in regional blocks
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (must become BC within 2 years) – Required
Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
DEA (or willingness to obtain) – Required
ACLS & BLS (or willingness to obtain) – Required
New graduates welcome
Working Hours
1.0 FTE ≈ 2,200 hours annually (inclusive of all call types)
Mix of day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
Call and holidays shared equitably, allowing hourly and compensation flexibility
