Locums Anesthesiologist
Location: Carson City, Nevada
Assignment Overview
- Coverage Model: On-site with call
- Rotation: 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- EMR: Cerner
- Cardiac Experience: Preferred (TEE not required)
- Day Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Call Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Call Schedule: OR call rotated equally among providers while on service
- Call Response Time: 20 minutes
- Active Nevada Medical License: Required before credentialing begins
- NV CSR: Required
- DEA License: Required
- Physicians supervise CRNAs and perform their own cases
- Cardiac cases primarily performed by physicians
- Daytime Providers:
- 3 MDs
- 10 CRNAs
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM: 11 rooms (including OB)
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: 5 rooms (including OB)
- 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: 3 rooms (including OB)
- Additional Rooms:
- Endoscopy: 1 room
- CV: 1 room
- Cath Lab: 1 room
- Cardiac
- General surgery
- Orthopedics
- OB
- Urology
- GI
- Podiatry
- Healthy pediatrics
- ENT
- Neuro
- Vascular / thoracic
- Proficiency in spinals, regional blocks, and epidurals
- Case logs required: Proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks
