Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Lewisburg, PA
- 💼 Position: Anesthesiologist
- ⏰ Schedule:
- 🕖 Shifts: 8 hr (7a–3p), 10 hr (7a–5p), 24 hr (7a–7a)
- 📞 Call: Weekday call (Mon–Thu), 2 weeks per month
- ✅ No Friday call
- 📅 Coverage: Mon–Fri daytime with call
💼 Work Details
- 👩⚕️ Support Staff: 20 CRNAs (in-house call coverage)
- 🤝 Team: Join a collegial group of 9 anesthesiologists collaborating with CRNAs
- 🔍 Model: 100% CRNA medical direction
- 🏨 Facility Highlights:
- 🛏 131-bed hospital
- 🏥 13 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, 2 cath labs
- 🏢 State-of-the-art ASC supervision
- 🏷 Case Mix: Bariatric, breast, general, gyn, ortho, plastics
- ❌ No trauma, neuro, or cardiac
- ✅ Regional anesthesia experience required (heavy ortho service)
- 📊 Volume:

- 🔪 ~600 surgical cases/month
- 📈 ~40 endoscopy cases/month
- 👶 ~700 deliveries/year
- 💻 EMR: Epic

✅ Requirements
- 🎓 Board Certification: Required
- 🏅 License: PA (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
- 🩺 Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- 📜 CSR & DEA: Required
- 💉 Vaccines: Mandatory (flu)
- 🔍 Additional: NPI & name clear
- ⏳ Credentialing: ~60–90 days
