Position: Anesthesiologist
Location: Quiet Corner of Northeast Connecticut
Assignment Length: 13+ weeks (extensions available)
Privileging: ~30 days
Start Date: Ongoing, flexible

Practice Setting

• Small community hospital with a friendly, collaborative anesthesia team

• 5 anesthesia rooms

• MD-supervised environment

• MDs supervise CRNAs and also perform their own cases

• CRNA-to-MD ratio: 3:4

• Charting: iPro + paper

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts

• Regular schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• No in-house call

• Pager call required (weeknights + weekends)

• Overtime may occur

Case Mix

Broad variety including:

• General

• Orthopedic

• OB

• Colorectal

• Cataracts

• Cystoscopy

• ENT

• GYN

• Podiatry

• Thoracic

• GI

• Pacemakers

• TEE

• Cardioversion

Requirements

• Board Certification not required

• Will accept physicians needing to obtain a CT license
