Job description Anesthesiology Opportunity – Community Hospital Setting Location: Easley, SC - Greenville 12m Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position Position Highlights * Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a community hospital setting * Diagnose, prevent, and treat diseases, defects, or injuries; prescribe treatments as appropriate * Render care in accordance with accepted professional standards without regard to ability to pay, race, creed, or other protected factors * Maintain accurate, legible, and timely medical records using CPT and ICD coding * Participate in after-hours call coverage on a rotating basis * Comply with standards of medical practice, managed care requirements, and Joint Commission standards * Engage in continuing medical education to maintain certification and licensure * Participate in non-revenue generating activities, including committees, community outreach, teaching, or research * Support quality assurance, utilization management, patient education, and patient satisfaction programs * Assist the organization in obtaining and maintaining licenses, permits, and accreditation standards Highlights * Competitive Base Salary of $448,000 * $65,000 Signing Bonus * Newly approved aggressive compensation plan * Salary continuation * Relocation and malpractice insurance * Professional Expense Allowance * Equitable call and vacation allocation for all full-time physicians * Generous benefits including retirement, health, dental and vision coverage * Employer participating in Public Service Loan Forgiveness * EPIC EMR Qualifications * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) * Completion of residency program * Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty * Medical staff privileges required Licenses & Certifications * South Carolina Medical License * South Carolina Controlled Substance License * DEA Number Skills & Experience * Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of office equipment * Specialty-specific skills as required for clinical practice * Strong communication and patient care skills
