Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgeries including orthopedics, neurosurgical, thoracic, and complex vascular procedures.
- Participate in all shifts, including night and weekend coverage.
- Collaborate with a team of providers to cover overlapping shifts and on-call duties.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through careful monitoring and intervention during perioperative procedures.
Qualifications
- Must have an active CA medical license.
- Board Certification required or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital clinical experience in anesthesiology.
- Ability to manage a wide range of anesthesia procedures, excluding cardiac cases.
Working Hours
- Shifts include weekday and weekend options, ranging from 8 to 24 hours.
- Shift rotation may vary, including some call responsibilities.
Skills
- Proficiency in general anesthesia for adults and pediatrics.
- Skilled in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques.
- Competence in handling neurosurgical, thoracic, and complex vascular cases.
- Experience in ventilation management and acute volume/BP issue management.
- Ability to perform central and arterial line placements.
