📍 Location: Dothan, AL

🔑 Position Overview
We are seeking three anesthesiologists to provide inpatient coverage at a Level III Trauma Center in Dothan, AL. This role requires scheduled clinical hours plus call, including weekends and holidays. Providers will manage a diverse patient population across adult, pediatric, and neonatal cases.
📅 Schedule
• On-call coverage required (including weekends & holidays)
• Full-time commitment expected
🏥 Practice Details
• Setting: Inpatient
• Trauma Level: III
• EMR: Paper charting
• Patient Population: Adult, pediatric, neonatal
🩺 Skills & Case Mix
• General anesthesia (adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma)
• Regional anesthesia surgery
• Obstetrical cases (OB not required but preferred)
• Neurosurgical cases
• Thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
• Complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
• Complex orthopedic cases
• Ventilation management
• Evaluation/management of acute volume & blood pressure issues
• Arterial line placement
✅ Requirements
• Board Certification: Not required
• License: Active Alabama medical license (required)
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BNDD
• Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
