Job Title: Locum - Physician - Anesthesiology
Join an esteemed healthcare facility in Troy, New York! Samaritan Hospital and St. Peter's Health Partners are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to begin working as soon as credentialed. This position offers the opportunity to work full-time in a hospital-based practice setting, catering primarily to a geriatric patient demographic. The facility is well-equipped with 8 operating rooms and utilizes Epic for electronic medical records.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive anesthetic care for a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, urology, dental, and endoscopic cases.
- Administer Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia as required.
- Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs as needed.
- Participate in night call coverage from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Engage in weekend beeper call from 7 AM to 7 AM.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active NY State License at time of submission
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Willingness to comply with a $25K conversion fee
- Must reside outside of a 60-mile radius of Troy, NY
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active New York State Medical License
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
