Aya Locums is seeking a skilled MD - Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in Norfolk, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for an Anesthesiology specialist looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed January 1, 2026 and ongoing for 26 weeks (through June 30, 2026).

Case Types: General Anesthesia (Adults and Pediatric Adults), Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases, Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart), Complex Orthopedic Cases, Head and Spine Neurosurgical Cases.

Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Schedule: Day shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours offered). Scheduled + On Call required. Must be open to weeknight and/or weekend call (1:10 ratio).

EMR System: Epic.
Requirements:

Active MD License in Virginia (required at time of submission).

Years of Experience Required: 2 years experience required (exceptions may be made depending on the unit).

Vaccines: COVID-19 (Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only),

Willing to License: Yes (they will credential for a Jan 5th start if license is secured by then).
