Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced CRNA to work locums shifts in Kansas City Missouri. Critical dates starting in January 2026 the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The CRNA role:
- EMR: Meditech, Medaxion
- Trauma Center: Level 1
- Number of ICU Beds 52 Licensed ICU, Level III NICU
- Number of Anesthetizing Sites onsite 17
- Shift requirements General schedule - Day Shifts 8, 10, 12 hr.
- On call requirements "General In House On call - 7p-7a weekday - 24 hr weekends - 2 CRNAs covering OB/OR & Trauma
- Will anaesthesiologist be medically directing CRNAs? No, Supervision
- Types of cases: GA, Ortho, Neuro, OOO, Trauma, OB, Peds
- Do you have Ultrasound for blocks? Yes
- How often are CRNAs performing Operative Cases under medical direction of an Anesthesiologist (as opposed to not medically directed)? Supervision only
- Who is performing Labor Epidurals? Dedicated OB CRNA
- MD night shift requirements? Trauma or OR? Not required but available. OR/OB & Trauma - in house.
Requirements of the CRNA role:
- MO state license; active- Will consider Compact License
- CRNAs must live outside a 90-mile radius of Kansas City, MO.
- Active CRNA Board certification
- 2 Years of experience required
- Certifications- BLS and ACLS
