Job description A well-established healthcare organization in Klamath Falls, OR is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their anesthesia care team. The provider will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia services across a range of surgical specialties. This role includes perioperative evaluation, anesthesia administration, pain control management, and collaboration with surgeons, CRNAs, and OR staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical decision-making, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans

Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia for surgical procedures

Manage intraoperative anesthesia levels and monitor patient vital signs

Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe patient recovery

Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs when required

Respond to emergency airway, code, and trauma cases as needed

Document all patient interactions and anesthesia details in the EMR

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with completion of Anesthesiology residency

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Active or eligible Oregon medical license

ACLS/BLS certifications required

Strong background in perioperative care and anesthesia administration

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Working Hours

Full-time schedule

OR hours with rotating call responsibilities

Weekend or holiday coverage may be required depending on staffing

Skills

Expertise in general, regional, and procedural anesthesia techniques

Strong airway and critical-care management skills

Ability to handle high-acuity cases with calm and precision

Proficiency in EMR documentation

Excellent communication and patient-management skills
