Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm Anesthesiologist - Cardiac

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join a well-established hospital-based practice located in Galloway, New Jersey. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures including general surgical cases, open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular surgeries.
• Administer IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and local infiltration techniques.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs in the delivery of care.
• Manage ventilation and provide TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertions as needed.
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend call coverage as required by the surgical schedule.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Required)
• Active New Jersey Medical License (Required)
• ACLS and BLS Certifications (Required)
• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia (Preferred)
• Experience with open heart, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular cases (Required)
• Proficiency with TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion (Required)
• Experience supervising CRNAs (Required)
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR (Preferred)
• Self-query NPDB must be conducted within 30 days of presentation (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active New Jersey Medical License
• ACLS (AHA) Certification
• BLS Certification
