Locum PA Anesthesiologist | IMLC Accepted | 8/10/24-Hr Shifts | EPIC

Position Overview

A 131-bed Pennsylvania hospital with an affiliated state-of-the-art ASC is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist. This role includes a mix of 8-, 10-, and 24-hour shifts, weekday call from home, and 100% CRNA medical direction.

Schedule & Coverage

• Shift Options:

  • 8 hours (7a–3p)

  • 10 hours (7a–5p)

  • 24 hours (7a–7a)

• Call: Weekday call (Mon–Thurs), taken from home

• No Friday call

• Hours: Monday–Friday daytime

• Credentialing: ~60–90 days

Work Details

• Team Structure:

  • 9 physicians

  • 20 CRNAs (24-hour in-house coverage)

• Model: 100% CRNA medical direction

• EMR: EPIC

• Facilities:

  • 13 ORs

  • 1 hybrid OR

  • 2 cath labs

  • ASC supervision as needed

Case Mix

• Bariatric, breast, general, gyn, orthopedic, plastics, and more

• Regional anesthesia experience required

• High orthopedic volume

• Patient Age: 12 months and up

• Volume:

  • 600 surgical cases/month

  • 40 endo cases/month

  • ~700 deliveries/year

Requirements

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology

• PA medical license (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
