We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in Columbus, GA, please see below for more information:
• Supervisory anesthesia model in a 384-bed Level II/III trauma center (adult/peds)
• Broad case mix: GI/endoscopy, ENT, general surgery, GYN, neuro/spine, ophthalmology, maxillofacial, ortho (general/spine/totals), plastics, podiatry, urology, vascular (major/other), pain management, thoracic/rad onc, OB, bariatrics, peds
• High volume: ~2,671 inpatient, 4,116 outpatient, 1,181 OB cases annually
• EMR: Epic

Job Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on anesthesia for a wide variety of adult and pediatric cases
• Cover inpatient, outpatient, and OB procedures
• Respond to assigned call, with priority for nights/weekends
Qualifications
• Epic charting experience required
Working Hours
• Day shifts 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (3 MDs) | Late days 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2 MDs) | Evenings 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (1 MD)
• Night in-house call 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (1 MD)
• Weekend days 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 MD) | Weekend nights 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (1 MD)
• Current focus on weekends + some weekdays
• Scheduled + call required
