We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in Franklin, NC, please see below for more information:
• Very low-acuity critical access hospital
• Bread-and-butter cases only: GI, cardioversions, ortho, GYN – no peds, no OB, no high-acuity, no hearts, no trauma
• Always working side-by-side with a CRNA (1 MD : 1 CRNA model)
• Schedule: 7a–5p in-house + beeper call 5p–7a
• 14 days on / 14 days off (will consider 7 on / 7 off)
• Only 4 ORs, ~600 surgical cases per year
• EMR: Cerner
• Temp privileges available;

Job Responsibilities
• Cover general, ortho, GYN, GI/endoscopy, and cardioversion cases
• Take beeper call from 5p–7a while on-service
• Manage bread-and-butter adult cases in a relaxed, low-volume environment
Qualifications
• Active North Carolina medical license required at submission
Working Hours
• 14 on / 14 off rotation (7 on / 7 off considered)
• Scheduled + beeper call required
