We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in Greensboro, NC, please see below for more information:
• Medical supervision model
• Rotating coverage between two sites 20 minutes apart
• 40-hour work week guarantee with rotating shifts
• Weeknight call 3p–7a | Weekend call 7a–7a (2 CRNAs + 1 MD in-house)
• Call approximately 1:7
• Case mix: General, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (~1,000 deliveries/yr), urology, healthy peds dental/ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), endoscopy — no hearts or complex peds
• CRNAs place daytime epidurals; MDs place epidurals on call
• EMR: Epic
• Temporary privileges available for clean, NC-licensed physicians

Job Responsibilities
• Supervise CRNAs and personally perform cases as needed
• Respond to weekday night call (3p–7a) and weekend 24-hour call (7a–7a) on a rotating basis
• Perform epidural placements when on call
• Cover both the main hospital campus and the nearby outpatient surgery center
Qualifications
• Active North Carolina medical license
Working Hours
• Primary shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (plus rotating later shifts)
• Call: Weeknights 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekends 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Scheduled + Call required
