ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing coverage - Long-term
SCHEDULE:
- Pine Ridge: Monday - Friday - (2) 8-hour shifts, (7) 10-hour shifts, (3) 12-hour shifts *Potential for sporadic call shift if need arises at this site (Sat/Sun)
- Collier: Monday - Friday - (6) 10-hour shifts, (1) 12-hour shift
- North: Monday - Friday - (1) 8-hour shift, (1) 10-hour shift
- No call requirements
- 15-20 shifts per month
WORKSITE SETTING: Inpatient | Across 3 campuses
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Work under medical supervision of anesthesiologists
- Participate in operative cases and outpatient procedures
- CRNA scope of practice per hospital bylaws is supported
- No trauma
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures
- Perform blocks with ultrasound guidance
- Support cardiac, ortho, neuro, vascular, ENT, GI, podiatry, and robotic cases
- Pediatric cases only at Collier (Dental)
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Participate in pre-op and post-op assessments
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
VOLUME & SUPPORT:
- 21 anesthetizing sites across campuses
- Pine Ridge: 8 ORs, 3 Endo Suites, 2 CV ORs, 3 Cath Labs, 1 IR
- Collier: 6 ORs, 2 Endo Suites, 1 Cath Lab
- North: 4 ORs
- Medical supervision varies by case and location
LICENSURES | CERTIFICATIONS | REQUIREMENTS: *Required Active FL RN License, Active FL APRN License, Active FL CRNA Certification | Active FL DEA *required | ACLS, BLS, PALS | Board Certified - NBCRNA | Must be comfortable with a variety of cases including high acuity
- MUST have active FL RN and APRN license
- MUST have active CRNA Certification
- MUST have active DEA license w/FL address
- Will not accept candidates without active licenses
