Locums | Anesthesiologist | Clinic + Call | Galloway, NJ Why This Role

  • Support a busy hospital surgical program by providing full-scope anesthesia services.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of CRNAs and surgeons in a Level II trauma setting.
  • Ideal opportunity for an anesthesiologist seeking ongoing or locum-to-perm placement.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Setting: Hospital-based Schedule: Variable shifts based on surgical schedule and hospital needs Includes weekday, night, and weekend call coverage (schedule TBD) EMR: Cerner Trauma Level: II Credentialing: 45–60 days Clinical Details General surgical anesthesia (adult) Regional, spinal, and local anesthesia techniques Cardiac, thoracic (non–open heart), and complex vascular cases TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion Supervision of CRNAs required Requirements Board Certified in Anesthesiology Active New Jersey medical license (no time for licensing) ACLS and BLS certifications Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred Experience with TEE, PA catheter, and advanced line placement Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
