Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-operative evaluation of patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures: review medical history, perform physical assessment, develop anesthetic plan, obtain informed consent.

Administer anesthesia (general, regional, MAC/monitored anesthesia care) and/or supervise anesthesia care as applicable in the outpatient setting.

Monitor patients intra-operatively, adjust anesthetic medications and techniques, manage airway, ventilation, hemodynamics, fluid status, and analgesia.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or equivalent.
Hold, or be eligible to obtain, an active medical license in the state of practice.
Working Hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours (No nights, weekends or on-call)
Skills
Comfortable with regional anesthesia techniques and managing ambulatory anesthesia cases (e.g., orthopedics, plastics, ophthalmology, general surgery) in an ASC setting.
Skilled in promoting efficient OR throughput — pre-op planning, timely inductions, smooth recoveries, rapid turnover.
Enthusiastic about patient education and communication — walking patients through anesthetic plan, addressing anxiety, ensuring clarity.
