The practice consists of general anesthesia, OB, vascular surgery, cath lab, healthy pediatrics (down to 6 months of age), occasional NORA, and basic nerve blocks. No CRNA supervision.
Major vascular/interventional vascular including AAA repair
Cardiac Cath lab cases
OB
Trauma
Regional Anesthesia/Peripheral nerve blocks
Are you able to give an idea as to OB volume an incoming locum anesthesiologist may expect? Occasionally they will be called to do a labor epidural and/or c-section. Maybe once or twice a week but never more than four to five times a week.
How many pediatric cases would the provider see per shift on average? 0-2 per day
Details about Cardic: The cath lab cases are both ablations and angioplasty/stents, as well as ICDs, EP studies, and atrial appendage occlusion devices. We primarily need interscalene blocks with occasional popliteal and supraclavicular blocks.
- The provider needs to agree to perform ALL of the following cases from Day 1. No exception. They will have to sign the attestation form for these procedures.

- This is a Mon- Fri 8 hour shift. No night call or weekend call.

- Provider also needs to attend in person Orientation (within 2 weeks before the start date on a business day)
- June 1 – June 5
- June 8 – June 12
- Dec 28 – Dec 31 (No New Years Day)
Candidate Requirements
- Active IN State License or IMLC.
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): More than 2 years
- Flu vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption.
- Covid vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption.
- Certifications: ACLS-AHA issued, BLS-AHA issued.
