Overview:
Aya Locums is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists (General and Cardiovascular) to support a new anesthesia program launch in the Houston, TX area starting January 1, 2026. This is a full-time, W2 opportunity offering weekday coverage, in-house call options, and a dynamic hospital environment.
Open Roles:
-
General OR Anesthesiologists (3 daily openings)
• Cases: General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, Urology, OB/GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Radiology, ENT
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
• Call: One in-house anesthesiologist from 3p–7a with CRNA call and backup -
Cardiovascular (CV) Anesthesiologist (1 daily opening)
• Cases: CABG, TAVR, Cath Lab
• Schedule: Weekdays with CV-only call rotation
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Location: Houston, TX (Kingwood area)

Duration: Ongoing assignment
Requirements:

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Active Texas medical license (Required)

CV fellowship training or strong cardiac experience (for CV role)

ACLS/BLS certification
