Job description ### Anesthesia Critical Care opening in West Virginia - Visa Eligible Located in Huntington, WV Full-time, permanent position Seeking BC/BE H1/J1 Visa Assistance ### Overview: * 7 on/7 off block schedule * 182 12-hour shifts per year = full time * Joining a well-established, busy CVT program – celebrating its 40th Anniversary. * 800+ open heart procedures annually. * 3 CVT surgeons. * Mid-level support. * Providing pre- and post-surgical intensive care to CVT surgery patients. * Limited call responsibilities. * 413-bed tertiary care facility. * Regional referral center for 10-14 hospitals. * Level 2 trauma center. * Serving a population greater than 375,000. * Not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. --- ### Required Qualifications: * Fellowship trained in Critical Care Medicine. * Anesthesia training preferred. * Board Certified/Board Prepared. * Experience in caring for cardiac surgery patients preferred. --- ### Comp/Benefits: * Standard term: 3 years. * Attractive salary + bonus incentive opportunity. * Starting bonus offered. * CME allowance — meeting registration/travel, dues, subscriptions, etc. * Relocation assistance. * Paid malpractice, including employer-paid tail. * Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including premium-free health and dental insurance. --- ### About the Area: Huntington, WV, with a population of around 45,000 residents, is a welcoming city located along the Ohio River in the heart of Cabell County.
