Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 5 years experience as a physician.
- Administrative experience on Medical Staff and Hospital Committees or administrative roles, preferred.
- Experience as a Physician Advisor in the acute care setting and/or the payer environment, preferred.
- Education and experience in the areas of medical management, outcomes management, and quality improvement/patient safety, preferred.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved College of Medicine/Osteopathy
- Board Certified/Eligible physician licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Utah
- Certification by American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP), preferred.
Physical Requirements
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly.
