Description
We are seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a high-acuity float pool position in Burlingame, California. Please see full job details below.
Job Responsibilities
Contract Length: 26+ weeks
Schedule: 4 or 5 days/week
Shifts: Typically 8 hours, can extend to 10 depending on cases
Guaranteed: Minimum 40 hours/week
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient surgical centers (no cardiac, liver, or neuro cases)
Floating: Required between multiple affiliated locations
Support: CRNA support, with occasional solo provider OR coverage
EMR: Epic
Qualifications
Active California medical license required (not open to licensing)
Minimum 2 years recent anesthesiology experience
Must have experience in tertiary care centers
DEA with California Schedule 2/2n required
AHA BLS and ACLS required
Working Hours
Full-time preferred; 2 weeks/month minimum available
No weekend or call coverage required
Skills
Strong general anesthesiology skillset required
Regional anesthesia skills strongly preferred
Proficient in Epic EMR
Must be comfortable working independently and alongside CRNAs
