LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST in Waterloo, Iowa *Job ID: 136519
Specialty: Anesthesiologist
Dates/Coverage Needed: Start in Jan or Feb 2026. The schedule is 5x8's or 4x10's between Monday - Friday. Weekend call coverage is needed, but it's not a set schedule. Weekends are calls only. Nightly call is 7 days a week
Case Mix: General Anesthesia, OB, and some Peds (mostly tonsil and adenoids). No heads or hearts.
Case Volume: About 30-50 cases for the whole department per day
Support Staff/Supervision: Some supervision, some independent. There are 6 Anesthesiologists and 2 CRNAs.
# of OR's: 13
Credentialing Time-Frame: 60 days
Active IA license: Active Iowa license or IMLC required
BC/BE: Must be BC only
Certifications: ACLS required
COVID-19 Vaccination: Yes, required
Travel/Lodging/Rental or Mileage: Yes
