We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Physician to provide exceptional anesthesia services across inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases, supporting high acuity (ASA 3+) environments.
  • Float between multiple facilities, including inpatient hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, as assigned.
  • Collaborate with CRNAs and support staff to deliver safe, effective anesthesia services.
  • Manage adult and adolescent patients (13+) with professionalism and clinical expertise.
  • Work predominantly solo in the operating room, with occasional oversight of CRNAs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology or Board Eligible with Fellowship Training.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent anesthesia practice, preferably at tertiary care centers.
  • Extensive experience with inpatient and outpatient surgical cases, including regional anesthesia preferred.
  • Valid California State medical license, DEA certification (Schedule 2/2n), BLS, and ACLS (AHA).
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to floating between facilities.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Regional anesthesia expertise.
  • Interest or experience in high acuity cases (ASA 3+).
  • Interest in working occasionally with CRNAs.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Fellowship training in Anesthesiology strongly preferred.
  • Recent clinical experience at tertiary or high-capacity centers.

Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to support at least 2 weeks per month of full-time coverage.
  • Ability to pass credentialing within 60-90 days.
  • Collect 2 professional references prior to offer.
  • Availability for 10-hour shifts, days, scheduled from 07:00 to 17:00.

This position offers an attractive all-inclusive hourly rate of $351.00, along with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, a robust referral bonus program, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and more.
