Our client, a prominent academic medical center affiliated with renowned institutions in Brooklyn, New York, is hiring a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to join their dedicated OB/GYN Department. This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, specialized care to women with high-risk pregnancies within a vibrant, diverse urban community.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering comprehensive consultative and procedural services for high-risk obstetric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Interpret advanced fetal ultrasounds
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, hospitalists, residents, midwives, and experienced sonographers
- Mentoring residents and medical students
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives
- Developing specialized programs such as preeclampsia management, fetal growth restriction, and gestational diabetes care.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal–Fetal Medicine
- Unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility
- Proven interpersonal skills and a commitment to education and mentorship
- Experience with urban, high-acuity populations is preferred
