Job description
This is a hands-on role covering a full range of anesthesia cases with both day and night shifts available.
Providers must be comfortable working nights and weekends once acclimated. Initial shifts will be daytime only to ensure a smooth transition with the existing team.

Coverage Dates:
11/1–11/14, 11/17–11/21, 11/24–11/26, 11/28, 12/1–12/5, 12/8–12/12, 12/15–12/18, 12/22–12/24, 12/27–12/28 -
Weekday Shifts: 8–12 hours (varies between 7a–7p or 3p–11p)

Call: Beeper call; remote on weekends

Weekend Coverage:

Day 1: 7a–7p (12-hour guarantee)

Day 2: 7a–7a (24-hour 2nd call)

Night: 7a–7a (24-hour call, 3rd call during the day / 1st call at night)

Required Skills
General anesthesia, adult, pediatric, trauma, spinal, epidural, regional, obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, complex orthopedic, pain management, post-op epidural and extremity blocks, vent management, and central/arterial line placement.
Qualifications

Board Certification: Required

State License: Active California license

Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
