Job description
Seeking a locum anesthesiologist to provide 24-hour OB and general anesthesia coverage. The role involves hospital-only inpatient care across multiple surgical services, including OB, general surgery, ortho, urology, plastic surgery, and GI.
Offering Rates: $2,700 for 24 Hour On-call and the callback rate is $400.00/hr

Job Responsibilities
Cover 24-hour OB call and general surgical cases as scheduled
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe anesthesia management
Maintain proper documentation in Cerner EMR system
Qualifications
Active Iowa License or IMLC with LOQ – REQUIRED
Prior experience in anesthesia – REQUIRED
Clean malpractice record and background – REQUIRED
Working Hours
Approx. 15 shifts per month (can be grouped or PRN)
Weekend/on-call as needed
Skills
Ability to handle multiple surgical specialties safely
Proficient in inpatient anesthesia workflow
Familiar with Cerner EMR and hospital protocols
