Job description
A leading Hospital Group in Muskegon, Michigan, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative and forward-thinking anesthesia team. This is a permanent W-2 position, open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with flexible on-call responsibilities prorated based on FTE.
You’ll join a professional, confident, and collegial team operating in a state-of-the-art, Level 2 trauma center, delivering care across a diverse range of surgical specialties. Our team values efficiency, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement, including a new Surgical Optimization Service to enhance preoperative care.

Job Responsibilities
Work across a wide range of case types, including:
- Orthopedic (elective & trauma)
- Neurosurgery
- ENT
- OB/GYN
- Complex vascular
- Cardiothoracic (including full-scope cardiac cases)
- Interventional cardiology (EP and structural heart)
- Radiology procedures
Provide anesthesia for obstetrical cases including epidurals and C-sections
Utilize peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional anesthesia techniques to support enhanced recovery goals
Participate in a rotation of call, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to align with personal and compensation goals
Support efforts to improve OR efficiency and quality of patient care
Contribute to the development of a Surgical Optimization Service
Engage in ongoing clinical education (CME support provided)
Qualifications
(Board Certification required within 2 years of hire) – Required
Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain – Required
DEA registration (or in process) – Required
ACLS and BLS certification (or in process) – Required
Must indicate whether applying for full-time or part-time employment – Required

Part-time schedules available with proportional call and benefits
