Health System is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join growing ICU and surgical team at Hospital, a Level 2 Trauma Center located in Jackson, Michigan—where high acuity care meets exceptional teamwork and career advancement. Open to H1B and J1 Visa physicians.

- Physician may submit salary expectations
- Provide 8–12 weeks per year of service in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), including home call coverage
- Oversee a growing team of APPs managing complex post-operative patients such as those recovering from cardiac surgery, major vascular procedures, and TAVR
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks, including General operating room coverage, Obstetric anesthesia, Healthy pediatric cases.
- Share OR call duties proportionally based on ICU coverage
- Work with an experienced, multidisciplinary team in a Level 2 Trauma Center setting
- Participate in clinical decision-making, protocol development, and care coordination
- Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and APPs
- Utilize Epic EMR for seamless and integrated patient documentation
- Join a collaborative and innovative department focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement
- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 2 years of starting at Health System) or Board Certified in Anesthesiology - REQUIRED
- MI license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained in Critical Care Medicine - REQUIRED
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA (or willing to obtain prior to start date) – REQUIRED
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED * no exemptions
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice and License History - REQUIRED
- Does the physician require visa support - J1 or H1B?
