Coverage & Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled hours + required call
Scheduled Hours: Monday–Friday, 7a–5p or 7a–3:30p (8.5–10 hr shifts)
Call: Required (in-house)

No call-backs (in-house coverage)

Typically Saturday 24-hr call needed
Overtime: Standard schedule only (no 12-hr shifts available)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

General, ortho, spine, plastics, gyn, endo, cath lab; high-acuity (ASA 1–5)
Excluded: Pediatrics, OB, trauma
Skills Required: Broad anesthesia scope, must perform own spinals

Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active Virginia (preferred; only exceptional providers considered without one)
DEA: Required
Experience: Proven proficiency across general and specialty cases
