Coverage & Schedule

• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + call

• Shift Hours:

  • Rock Island: 7:00am–3:00pm (5 ORs) / 3:00pm–5:00pm (2 ORs) / 5:00pm–7:00pm (2 ORs)

  • Moline: 7:00am–3:00pm (5 ORs) / 3:00pm–5:00pm (3 ORs)

• Call:

  • Rock Island – 7:00pm–7:00am (MDs cover OR call)

  • Moline – 5:30pm–7:00am (CRNAs cover OB call)

  • Call response time: 20 minutes

  • Must be open to occasional back-up call

• Rotation: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Work Details

• Supervision: Combination of supervision & personally performed cases

• Providers During Day: 3 MDs / 10 CRNAs

• ORs: 4 (Rock Island) / 5 (Moline)

• Endo Room: 1 (Rock Island)

• CV Room: 1 (Rock Island)

• Case Mix:

  • Both sites: Pediatrics, General, Ortho, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry

  • Rock Island: Cardiac, Endo, Vascular

  • Moline: GYN, Pain Management

• Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, blocks (case logs required)

  • Broad scope of general and cardiac anesthesia

  • Cardiac / TEE experience preferred (not required)

• Patient Population: Adults (with some Peds)

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required (must be BC in Anesthesiology; BE not accepted)

• License: Active Illinois license (required; not open to licensing)

• Certifications: AHA ACLS required

• DEA: Required

• CSR: Illinois CSR required

• Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

• Vaccines: COVID-19 required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
