Job description
Our client, a leading academic medical institution, is hiring a General Clinical Gastroenterologist to join their faculty. As a General Clinical Gastroenterologist, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse patient population with various gastrointestinal pathologies, including non-transplant liver disease.
Responsibilities:
- Outpatient and inpatient management
- Performing general procedures such as endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, and Esophageal Motility
- Opportunity to teach residents and fellows, and contribute to clinical research
Required:
- MD degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Valid New York State License
- DEA and Medicaid number
- Experience in teaching and clinical research
- Familiarity with urban, ethnically diverse patient populations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
