Join a dynamic and growing team in Jackson, MI, where you’ll provide top-tier anesthesia and critical care services at a busy Level 2 Trauma Center. This full-time position offers a unique blend of ICU leadership and diverse OR responsibilities, perfect for an anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Critical Care who thrives in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.
What You’ll Do:

Lead and provide 8–12 weeks/year of specialized care in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), including home call coverage
-
Oversee and mentor a growing team of APPs managing complex post-op patients recovering from cardiac surgery, vascular procedures, and TAVR
-
Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks, covering general OR cases, obstetrics, and healthy pediatric cases
-
Share OR call duties proportionally aligned with ICU coverage

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on trauma, critical care, and surgical excellence

Participate in clinical decision-making, protocol development, and care coordination

Engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents and APPs
-
Utilize Epic EMR for integrated patient care documentation
What You Bring:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine
-
Michigan License or Willingness to Obtain
-
Current certifications or willingness to obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, CSR/CDS
-
Clean malpractice
-
Available to start ASAP and commit to the described schedule
