Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Anesthesiologist to join a growing anesthesia team in Pueblo, Colorado. This position offers the choice of distinct practice tracks, minimal call responsibilities with nocturnist support, and the opportunity to manage diverse, high-acuity cases while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple settings, including trauma centers (Level 1–3) and outpatient surgery centers.
• Perform a variety of cases including trauma, obstetrics, spine, vascular, thoracic, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, GI, and general surgery.
• Deliver both independent and supervised anesthesia care, ensuring safe, effective patient outcomes.
• Focus on regional anesthesia and block techniques to enhance recovery and optimize patient care.
• Participate in occasional home call with 45-minute callback requirements (minimal weekend call).
• Collaborate with a physician-led team, contributing to clinical excellence and patient safety.
• Optional opportunities for leadership, teaching, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (required).
• Active Colorado medical license, or willingness to obtain (required).
• DEA license must be obtained prior to start (required, no exemptions).
• Clean malpractice record preferred.
• Visa candidates (J1 or H1B) considered for the Pueblo track only.
• Minimum: Completion of accredited anesthesiology residency program.

Working Hours

• Varied shifts.
• Minimal call requirements with nocturnist support and occasional home call (45-minute callback).
• Minimal weekend call.
• Full-time permanent role (not locums or locums-to-perm).
