An exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join a dynamic team at a high-acuity facility in Jackson, MI. This full-time role blends critical care leadership in the CVICU with diverse anesthesia practice, offering professional growth, team collaboration, and a balanced lifestyle.
Job Responsibilities
โข Supervise and collaborate with APPs in managing post-op cardiac and vascular patients
โข Deliver general OR, OB, and healthy pediatric anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks
โข Participate in weekend and call rotations based on ICU coverage
โข Contribute to protocol development and interdisciplinary care coordination
โข Teach and mentor residents and APPs in a collaborative academic environment
โข Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
Qualifications
โข Fellowship-trained in Critical Care Medicine (required)
โข Active Michigan Medical License or willingness to obtain (required)
โข DEA & CSR/CDS (required prior to start)
โข BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (required or willing to obtain prior to start)
โข Clean malpractice and license history
โข COVID and flu vaccination required
Working Hours
โข Varied shifts
โข ICU call: Home call
โข OR call: Adjusted proportionally based on ICU time
โข Weekends: Included in rotation
