Physician Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens

Contract Length: 6 months (26 weeks)
Coverage Type: Scheduled + On Call
Schedule & Shifts

Standard: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM (from home)

Weekend call: 1 weekend per rotation

Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off

Call response time: 20 minutes

Support: 1 MD and 1 CRNA onsite (not a supervision model, CRNAs work independently)

EMR: Epic

Case Types: Endoscopy, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, General, Orthopedic

Skills Required: Epidurals, spinals, and regional blocks (logs required)

Volume: Mix of OR and OB cases during call
Requirements
-
Board Certified (Anesthesiology)
-
Active Indiana license (not open to licensing)
-
BLS, ACLS (AHA required), PALS
-
DEA and CSR required
-
Proficiency in epidurals, spinals, and blocks (case logs required)

Credentialing: 120 days
